When IT equipment is fully
depreciated it has to be disposed of in an environmentally friendly
manner which is within the law (WEEE directive etc.). The disposal
aspect can be entirely undertaken by
BRES. We would take on the collection, refurbishment, resale and/or
disposal
providing the client with a complete solution so that they can
concentrate on their core activities without bothering with the
legislation related to waste. BRES
will also provide the client with the appropriate Waste Transfer Notes
and/or Duty of Care
Certificates where required and a full
audit trail of the whole process. This
would ensure that the equipment is disposed of in an
environmentally safe manner and, where required, compliance can be
demonstrated to the Environment Agency.
We are registered with the Environment
Agency holding the necessary licences and registrations ensuring
compliance with the law. We are members of the Chartered
Institute of Wastes Management
(CIWM), which puts us in a strong position to advise clients on their
environmental responsibilities and WEEE compliance.
