If you produce more than 200kg of Hazardous Waste (i.e CRT, TFT monitors, laptops or UPS') per year you must register your premises with the Environment Agency as a producer of Hazardous Waste. If you produce less than 200kg per year, you may be exempt from registering. 200kg is equivalent to about 13 CRT monitors.  If you would like us to register your premises, please contact us.

Under the Duty of Care Obligations you are also responsible for informing us of what waste you are disposing of including any specific handling requirements or hazards. This allows us to properly plan for the collection and ensure that the final disposal route is properly licenced to deal with your waste.

BR Environmental Services will both collect and refurbish or recycle your WEEE and complete the appropriate hazardous waste consignment notes and waste transfer notes on your behalf – taking away a level of bureaucracy for you.
